Summer, Holiday, and Semester Break Hours

In the summer during exhibitions, the galleries are open Tuesday through Thursday, 10 AM - 3 PM. The galleries are closed during university holidays, breaks, and between exhibitions. The galleries are free and open to the public.

Lectures, Presentations, and Works on Display

Exhibitions are often accompanied by artists' illustrated lectures and gallery talks, in addition to award presentations, featured displays, special projects, and the Art Department’s Distinguished Visiting Artist Lecture Series.

Collections

Permanent Collection

Marywood's permanent collection, which is housed in the Suraci Gallery, includes a variety of fine and decorative art from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as a special Asian collection.

Maslow Collection

The Maslow Collection includes over 500 pieces of contemporary art by more than 150 mostly-American artists. Marywood students and faculty use the collection for research and study. Some works are on loan to regional and national galleries.
