I am a Professor of Architecture with over 25 years of experience teaching beginning design and construction technology studios. My scholarship and creative work investigate architectural interiority, with an emphasis on the work of Rem Koolhaas. In addition to my academic work, I am a licensed architect and have worked with Joseph Rykwert, Bernard Tschumi, and Marco Frascari, as well as my own architectural and interiors practice that won AIA Chapter and State-level Design Awards (see LA-ab.com).

Previously, I was Dean of the College of Creative and Professional Studies at Marywood University In this position, I oversaw five schools: Architecture, Visual and Performing Arts, Humanities, Business, and Education, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Administrative Studies and a Master of Public Administration program. Before joining Marywood University, I served as Chair of the School of Interior Design and as Undergraduate Program Coordinator of the School of Architecture at Louisiana State University, where I taught for fifteen years.

I earned my Master of Architecture at University of Pennsylvania and my Bachelors of Environmental Design from Miami University (OH).
