As a lecturer in Marywood’s Health Sciences Department, Kristin Chacko provides invaluable insight to her students based on her extensive career in respiratory therapy. She has been practicing respiratory therapy since graduating from Luzerne County Community College with her associate of applied science degree in the field. She has worked at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Roxborough Memorial Hospital and Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She worked as an adjunct clinical instructor in respiratory therapy at Luzerne County Community College before starting her stint as a clinical instructor at Marywood in 2021. She has earned her advanced credentials as an Adult Crital Care Specialist (ACCS), Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), and Pulmonary Disease Educator (PDE-C). She is presently enrolled in the RRT to BSRT program.
