Dr. Christopher Speicher Serves as Guest Speaker for StartUp Tank in India
Christopher Speicher Ph.D., associate professor of marketing and entrepreneurship at Marywood University, recently attended StartUp Tank 2019: a challenge for students at the CK Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management in Vadodara, India. Dr. Speicher, along with Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, co-developed the entrepreneurial challenge and attended the competition as special guests.
Based on the success of Startup Tank Challenge in India and Bangladesh, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Councils (ACBSP) invited Dr. Speicher to make a presentation on the event, which generated enormous interest among college and university students from all disciplines of higher education.
Dr. Speicher is passionate about entrepreneurship and consistently serves as an advisor to Marywood University students who compete in the tecBridge Business Plan Competition, a regional competition, designed to stimulate innovative thinking to leverage a technology-driven economy while also retaining our region’s talent. Dr. Speicher received the Faculty Advisor of the Year award at the tecBridge Business Plan Competition ceremony in 2016 and is the Academic Track Speaker at the third annual tecBridge Innovation Conference 2019, Scranton, Pa.
