Costanzo Construction Services, Pella Corporation, ASSA ABLOY, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Breslin Architects, Campus Construction Management Group, designBLD, Fidevia Construction Management & Consulting, FSOP LLC, HC Architects, Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services, MG Architects Ltd., MKSD Architects, Moseley Architects, Nason Construction, P. McDonough Architecture and Design, Simplex Homes, Sordoni Construction Services, Thalle Construction Company, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, and Becker Morgan Group, met with students to discuss internships, full-time positions, graduate study opportunities, and career pathways that reflect the growing demand for professionals skilled in integrated, collaborative project environments.
“The School of Architecture’s annual Career Fair achieved record-breaking success this year, welcoming the highest number of companies in the event’s history,” said Jodi LaCoe, program director. “Leading multidisciplinary firms across architecture and construction management participated, reflecting strong industry demand for graduates equipped to work in collaborative environments.”
Throughout the event, students engaged directly with employers representing design, construction, and project delivery sectors, gaining insight into industry expectations while building professional connections. Participating companies praised students for their preparation, professionalism, and the strength of their academic experience, reinforcing the School’s reputation for producing career-ready graduates.
For first-year architecture student Cindy, the Career Fair exceeded expectations. “I didn’t expect to gain much from the experience,” she said. “I assumed firms wouldn’t be very interested in speaking with me yet, but I was very surprised by how welcoming many of them were. There were several firms I found especially interesting and would consider in the future, including a primarily women-led architecture firm that I found incredibly inspiring. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m excited for the day I can attend as a possible candidate for an internship.”
The Career Fair is a key component of Marywood’s hands-on, career-focused approach, providing students with real-world access to the firms and professionals shaping the built environment. A full list of participating companies will be released as it becomes available.
