The Marywood University School of Social Work's Lehigh Valley Program held its Fall Symposium at DeSales University on Tuesday, November 12.

In partnership with Cedar Crest College, the symposium featured accomplished speakers discussing grief, loss, and local resources in the Lehigh Valley. Topics included suicide loss, loss associated with the coming-out process, and perinatal loss and grief.

The event, attended by over 70 people, also highlighted community resources and partnerships with the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Lehigh County, the Northampton County Suicide Task Force, Mindful Transformations Counseling, NAMI of the Lehigh Valley, KidsPeace Walk-In Services, Lehigh Valley Hospice and Bereavement Services, and the Luke William Hahn Foundation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, participated, and contributed to the success of the Fall 2024 Symposium.
