Marywood University Gears Up for 2026 Giving Day

Published

Marywood University is preparing for its annual Giving Day, happening on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. This 24-hour event brings together alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to support the programs, scholarships, and experiences that make Marywood so special.

Giving Day celebrates the power of community. Every donation, big or small, helps students thrive—whether by funding scholarships or supporting the arts, athletics, and other campus programs. The event also features a variety of fun challenges and goals designed to engage different groups of donors and increase participation. Past challenges have included class-based competitions, matching gifts from alumni and trustees, and special recognitions for those who rally the most support.

Mary Stremski, Assistant Director of Annual Giving, shared, “Giving Day shows the best of Marywood. It's one of my favorite days of the year because the entire Marywood community—alumni, staff, faculty, students, and friends—comes together for an incredible day to support scholarships, the arts, athletics, student experiences, and so much more! Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference in the lives of our students.”

As the day approaches, the university is encouraging supporters to mark their calendars and get involved. Social media and email campaigns are underway to keep the community engaged and excited. Organizers emphasize that every gift counts, and together, the Marywood community can make a real impact in just 24 hours.
