Sr. Angela Kim Presents Research During International Week in Romania

Sr. Angela Kim is representing Marywood University at the annual “International Week” conference hosted by Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu in Romania from May 11–15, 2026.

During the international conference, faculty members from across the globe gathered to present research and share expertise in a variety of academic disciplines. Sr. Angela presented “International Perspectives on Social Work Education, Practice & Curriculum Development,” which welcomed attendance from social work students as well as faculty members in social work, psychology, and sociology. Her presentation sparked meaningful discussion and provided an opportunity for international collaboration and cultural exchange.

Sr. Angela shared that the conference has been a valuable experience, highlighting the diversity of countries, disciplines, and scholarly perspectives represented throughout the week.

Although she is abroad during commencement weekend, Sr. Angela expressed her heartfelt congratulations to Marywood’s graduating students and their families, sharing that commencement remains one of her favorite university traditions. She extended her best wishes to the Marywood community as students, faculty, staff, and families gather to celebrate this important milestone.
